Goes is a small town with a town harbor that is really worth seeing, lots of old buildings and interesting little shops. Of particular note was that many houses around the city harbor had a name above the door. This relic dates from the time when the houses had no house numbers and describes the owners at that time.

From Goes we continued to Yerseke, which is one of the most important oyster farming areas in Europe. In the small town one oyster farm follows the other. The Oesteruj is particularly worth seeing because, in addition to a sale, it also contains a restaurant and a museum. The museum was really interesting, here you can learn a lot about oyster farming, for example that oysters need a solid base to grow and that discarded roof tiles used to be used for this. And after the visit to the museum, the freshly caught oysters taste even better...
