10.-13. Nov 2016: Arrival in Perth

Ku kandziyisiwile: 11.11.2016

After recovering from jet lag, I went on an exploration tour in the Perth City. The impression: The city is really clean, multicultural (so many Asians) and the people are super friendly.

I visited Elizabeth Quay during the day and at night, as well as Kings Park. From the view of Elizabeth Quay, you can see how new this city actually is. There are hardly any buildings that look really old.

Kings Park consists of a collection of West Australian plants, which are planted according to their geographic occurrence. Since this park is even larger than Central Park in New York and maybe I started a bit late, not everything could be explored before dusk. At least I ventured into a highly dangerous snake area.

In summary, Perth is a really nice city, but there isn't much exciting to do. By the way, when I asked the taxi driver from the airport about sights in Perth, he first answered with a 'uhhh'. That confirms it a bit. Tomorrow I will go to Rottnest Island. Let's see if the island is really as great as they say.
