After our breakfast, this time accompanied by a female deer, we set off for the westernmost point of the Isle of Skye, Neist Point Lighthouse.
After another adventurous drive along various single tracks, we stopped by the Talisker Distillery and took a look inside. Tours are fully booked today. đś
Just as we started our hike, the storm and rain came. But we are waterproof and so are our jackets and pants. So we continued hiking.
The cliffs are also very beautiful. With the right weather, it must be incredibly beautiful. Very beautiful.
On the way back, we stopped by Linda Jackson. She is a local artist who paints and makes various things from sheep wool (her own production).
Really cool, the second-to-last house before the lighthouse. Card payment is possible, but only in the main house. So we followed the wheelchair and dog Tess. Wonderful encounter.
Dinner was difficult without a reservation today. But at the harbour restaurant, we got potato soup and meatballs to take away.
We have made reservations for the next two days. đ
Now we are drying off.
Stay tuned!
