Move on to Fort William

Today we left the Isle of Skye for Fort William with heavy hearts.

On the way, we were able to visit Eilean Donan Castle, perhaps best known from the movie 'Highlander'. Great spot.

In the afternoon, we arrived at our charming but very beautiful hotel 'The Garrison'.

Practically an outdoor mecca. The town consists mainly of outdoor shops (high quality and high priced), restaurants, and souvenir shops. The immediate proximity to the highest mountain in Great Britain, Ben Nevis, naturally attracts hiking fans to this town without end.

Tomorrow we also want to go up!😎
