14./15.03. Hiking with and without car

Ku kandziyisiwile: 16.03.2018

On the first day, the car stopped and we hiked from Halls Gap to the 'Pinnacle' (about 5 hours). The Grampians are a bit reminiscent of Saxon Switzerland, only the rock is somewhat redder. Unfortunately, it is not common here for a hut to be on the mountain, so we brought the summit beer ourselves (the Aussies were really jealous). With the heat, it was quite exhausting. In the cottage's whirlpool (they have something like that here), the emerging muscle soreness could be contained immediately.

On the second day, we chose the retirement version and drove to the various lookouts by car (just to justify it: we wouldn't have had time otherwise.). There were the 'Balconies', the 'Mac Kenzie Fall', 'Reed-' and 'Baroka- Lookout', a waterfall without water, 'Bellfield- Reservoir' and finally a bit of culture in the information center of the local Aborigines. We couldn't do more...
