The alarm clock rang at 7am. Time to slowly leave my free all-inclusive hotel. But first, I showered and had breakfast. So I was ready by 8am. And I left the hotel.
At around 9am, after waiting out in the rain for an hour, I got picked up.
He and his colleague were working in waste management and they were getting spare parts for the truck. And then they drove to Fauske.
We also saw something really cool that I've never seen before.
A "rainbow," but not the kind you usually see, but in the hole of a cloud. It looked a bit like a soap bubble.
Then it took a while... many cars passed by me, but they made funny gestures again where no one knows what they mean.
So, since we had to wait, we had time for another photo.
Then I stood in the rain after the 40km. And after another hour, I got picked up again. This time by two students. He had studied medicine, quite uninteresting. She had studied outdoor guide. It's something you can only study in Norway, Canada, Sweden, and probably Switzerland as well. Basically, you learn kayaking, climbing, skiing, survival, and mountain guiding activities there. I found it quite interesting. It's basically what I'm already doing, just with a bachelor's degree.
It was funny that he was/is a really bad driver. He almost drove into the ditch or the piled up snow on the roadside a few times. She had to intervene every time. And I don't think he had a sense for driving. When they picked me up, he first stopped in the middle of the road, but he didn't want to stay there because he thought there was a lot of traffic. He then drove 20m forward to get closer to the side, well... that didn't work.
Since we exchanged information and I found out that it will only rain in the next few days and I really don't feel like dealing with rain, especially after the nights in the hotel. I got a train ticket with her help, because it was in Norwegian. From Mo i Rana to Oslo.
Departure is around 00:30 and arrival will be around 4pm in Oslo.
I hate rain.
Now I'm more or less just walking around Mo i Rana.
