27° Offroad

While diving, I meet Markus from Munich. Interestingly, he spent a lot of time in Lenggries a few years ago and we know some common people. We arrange a scooter tour in the afternoon. Destination: Tembeling Beach & Forest. I enjoy the last few hours on the scooter and appreciate the beautiful landscape. The road ends and for 4 km it goes downhill super steep and rocky. For the less adventurous, there are many locals here offering a 'taxi ride'. They would drive your scooter for you. We dare and slowly ride downhill. Markus is more worried about going uphill again. Without any accidents, we make it to the parking lot and walk the remaining fifteen minutes. There is a natural water pool for cooling off and I even dare to swing. As beautiful as it is, we decide to continue driving to a cliff viewpoint. We easily make it up the mountain without any oncoming traffic and we handle the dirt roads well too. I enjoy driving here so much now that I really have to be careful at home... I can already see myself riding through the Grunewald with a Vespa. The viewpoint was worth it again and as long as it's still light, we drive back home. After a small snack, we meet Jan at the night market. I have farewell Sate Ayam with a loooot of sauce.
