That felt good today - resting the feet and just lazing around 😀 but even on such a city exploration, you can still rack up some kilometers (10 km city walk) 🚶🏿🚶🏿
Our first destination today was the weekly market - the biggest and most famous in Portugal - like a gigantic open-air department store - here you could find everything: vegetables, pots, cheese, flowers, clothes, trees, bread, shoes, dishes, parrots, carpets ... and for a vegetarian and an animal lover, it was hard to accept chickens, roosters, chicks, rabbits (packed together in small cages or tied together by their legs) and small dogs. Almost one of them disappeared in our bag 😀
Different countries, different customs!
The atmosphere was still great 😀
Barcelos is the city of roosters - a beautiful legend has made it so. Here, many roosters crow in the morning 🐓
After visiting the ceramic museum, we end the day by the Cavado River with our market souvenirs and enjoy the sunset near the beautiful medieval bridge ☀️🌙⭐️
Tomorrow we need a lot of strength - it will be hilly and a longer route - 21 km.
Good night
