Day 365 - Take the longtail boat to Coral Island & snorkel

Hello everyone

Today we had a wonderful day on Coral Island!

As agreed, we were picked up by a taxi at 10:00 a.m. and after a journey of about an hour we reached the port.

There we got into our longtail boat and enjoyed the short crossing.

After about 20 minutes we reached a place to snorkel. We quickly mounted the camera on the boat and jumped straight into the enticing, crystal-clear water.

There were a lot of fish!

We snorkeled around for a while and when we got back on the boat, we soon went on to Banana Beach on the other side of the island.

Once there, we went to the beach and agreed to return between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

After paying a fee, for which we received meal coupons, we sat down directly in the restaurant.

We didn't realize until much too late that we naturally felt hungry right around lunchtime, which is why we had to wait a long time for food.

We spent the rest of the afternoon on the island's beach, went snorkeling again and climbed a bit over the stones on the coast.

At 4:00 p.m. we wanted to slowly return, but our boat was nowhere to be seen. A few employees called our boat captain: "He'll be there in about 20 minutes after he unloads another customer."

Real??? What kind of private tour have we booked???

Well, whatever - we're on holiday after all. So we sat on the sand and watched the goings-on until our boat returned.

Interestingly, we were also picked up by another, slightly busier boat.

Another 20 minutes later we reached the port again and got into the waiting taxi.

Now it is 5:30 p.m. and we are on the way back to our accommodation.

We will spend some time there on our great terrace and have dinner later.
