From Greece to Turkey

Phew, the day OFF has really done me good.

First there were eggs and bacon (of course just for me 🤪🤪 and the dogs 🤪🤪), traditionally on the camping stove 🫣awesome....

Then to the sea. Swimming was a bit tricky because it was almost impossible to walk on the stones.... (And where are our swim shoes?? Of course @home 🤪)

And thennn? Showeeeer 👌🏻👌🏻awesome! What an incredibly good feeling to be clean.

Then delicious food and of course Ouzo 😇

And then planning what’s next. We actually wanted to go to Thessaloniki but there were our camper/dog problems 🫣 no camping or parking space available. Okay, then to a hotel? The selection of hotels that allow dogs could be counted on one hand. Only upon request or extra costs up to 100 euros..... per dog 🤪🤪🤪 Rooms for us 70 euros for the dogs 300 euros 🧐🧐🧐 ehhhhmm No.

We also considered taking the ferry. But for that, you have to first go to a Greek island to then get to Turkey. All nonsense.

Since we are all well-rested now, we decided to go to Turgut's hometown. Canakkale is our destination today. 824 km and about 9 hours of driving time. We hope that it works out and that we don’t have more nasty surprises waiting for us 🤪🤪
