At Petra and Hebbe

We are warmly welcomed and are amazed. This spot on earth in the middle of nowhere (not even Mrs. Google knows her way around here) turns out to be truly paradise. 

They have a pretty cottage, a fantastic pavilion, which understandably serves as the living room, and a garden....

I have rarely seen a more lovingly designed garden. Every corner is different, with eye-catchers, carefully tended plants, stones, tree bark... oh I'm thrilled. 

And everything has its own story, which they are happy to tell. Starting with the difficulties of the soil, the plants, up to the incredible stroke of luck of 5 calm days during the pavilion construction. With wind, the thing would have blown away. Windless days have not occurred since then. 

In the pavilion with the fantastic view of Gallura, I do my emails. This is what I imagine home office to be like!
