DAY 13 - Flakstad / Gravdal

After our first night in the Lofoten Islands, which was bright all the time, we took the bus towards Flakstad.

Arriving at Flakstad beach, we wanted to go surfing. Or rather, we wanted to make our first attempts at surfing. There was only one problem - there were no waves!

We decided to go stand-up paddling instead, and jumped into the water with our long wetsuits and boards.

Who can say they've done SUP and swimming in the Arctic Sea? Well, we can!

After a little photo shoot - of course in bikinis - we set out to eat our packed lunches.

After a little sunbathing, we took the bus to Leknes, where our accommodation is located.

We decided to do a small hike to Gravdal. After a long search, we finally found a hiking trail that took us up a mountain and down to the far corner of the town. So we decided to go to the top of the island next to Gravdal.

Done and done. We enjoyed the beautiful view during a cookie break.

When we returned, our host was still not there, so we contacted the neighbors. They didn't know anything either, but they started making phone calls for us and invited us for dinner. We tasted fresh shrimp from the Arctic Sea.

Finally, when we were in the right accommodation, we felt relieved. After a quick planning for tomorrow, now it's time for us to sleep!
