I am awakened at 10:30 am by the hostel owner who comes into the room and has to wake up Chloe and the two Argentinians, who were supposed to check out at 10. I'm glad I extended my stay for another night so I can cure my slight hangover in peace. It's quite sad that the three of them are leaving, just when I started to make friends.
Based on the recommendation of a Slovenian girl who helps out at the hostel, I plan to take a boat to a nearby island and go to a beach. When I'm about to leave, I meet 3 English guys at the hostel who want to rent their own boat. I can join them and so I spend the day on a boat in the middle of the sea with a few English people, contrary to my original plan. Once again, it's an advantage not to plan the day too strictly, because you never know what might happen. I never thought I'd be driving a boat and dropping an anchor for the first time in my life today. Overall, it was a great day with funny photoshoots and views that can probably only be seen from a boat. In the evening, I'm pretty tired from the day. Plus, I still have to think about where I'm going tomorrow. Somehow, I'm tempted to go to the next island, Korcula. It's supposed to be beautiful and quieter too.
