Philippines...and a reunion with friends :-)

We continued from Bangkok to Manila, where we celebrated a big reunion. We met Mimi, Yves, and Neumi there (this time not entirely by chance), with whom we wanted to spend the next few days in the Philippines. After a short night in a rather run-down place in Manila, we were ready to move on to the sea... With over 7,000 islands and approximately 35,000 km of coastline, it's not so easy to make the right choice. We decided to go to Boracay as our first destination... And yes, Boracay is quite popular, and yes, it was the week before Easter, the biggest festival of the Filipinos... In other words, it was quite crowded. However, we had a nice house all to ourselves and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest... The days mainly consisted of beaches and the sea, eating and sunsets, bars and chilling... We had a great time...with sand between our toes and saltwater on our skin! But above all, it was nice to spend relaxed days with old acquaintances from home😉
