Already a week ago I arrived in Spain, in VALENCIA . The flight went from Berlin directly to Valencia without any complications, so I was on the plane around 16:00 and arrived around 19:30. Finally, I took the metro to the city and reached my accommodation. I live here in a dormitory with about 12 people, all of whom are currently learning Spanish at the ESPANOLE school. Among them are two German girls and mainly Dutch people. The way to school can be reached on foot in 10 to 15 minutes.
01.05. - Instead of classes, there was a trip to Peniscola. After a 2-hour bus ride, we were able to visit the castle, the city, and the beach there. Back in Valencia, as a small group, we went to a bar and I had the famous AGUA DE VALENCIA.
02.05. - On the first day of school, a placement test and a short introduction were done, and then everyone received their schedule. In this week, I have classes in the morning from 8:00 to 14:00 (1 hour of grammar, 4 hours of learning at the A1 level, 1 hour of culture), with classes limited to a maximum of 10 people. During break time, we can use the 3 terraces on the school grounds. In addition, the school offers numerous activities, mostly free of charge, after school, from 6 pm onwards. Therefore, on the first day, I took part in a city tour.
03.05. - After school, I visited the main gate TORRES DE QUART and paid only 2 euros for a wonderful view of the city. Then I walked through the TURIA river park (former river turned into a park) and visited a small gallery.
04.05. - In the evening, there was an excursion to ALBORAYA, which is located above Valencia. There, we took a walk and had a little picnic. After that, we met a few friends and spent the evening at the beach.
05.05. - Today I just strolled through the city. In the evening, we had Mexican food and drinks in a small group to say goodbye to two of the girls.
I used the weekend to visit the bullring, the harbor, and the beach.
