29|11|18, Mt. Victoria

Hi guys,

today the weather was actually acceptable again! Mainly cloudy, occasional rain, but also sunshine in between!

After getting up, we went to a nearby swimming pool. However, we were not there to swim, but to take a shower. Because there are no showers on the free campsites, but personal hygiene cannot be completely neglected, we took the opportunity and showered there.

Afterwards, we drove to Mt. Victoria, a mountain in the middle of Wellington, from where we had a view over the whole city. The view was okay, but not really a highlight.

From here, we said goodbye to Hanni and Henrike, with whom we have been traveling around for the last 3 days. They are now heading north again, which completely contradicts our travel route.

We had a nice time with them.

Back at the campsite, we went to the city again, where we had something to eat and from there to another campsite, right by the sea.

Here we met a German retired couple who are currently on vacation, with whom we talked almost the whole evening and then went to bed.
