After a slightly rainy night, we continued in the morning, eager to get back to civilization as soon as possible. We still had 680km ahead of us until Ceduna in South Australia. We drove at 85 km/h. We drove through the Nullarbor Desert, where it's hot (fortunately, we have a great air conditioning) and there's nothing. Shortly before the start of the desert, there was a huge bushfire, as far as the eye could see, everything was filled with black smoke. Luckily, we came through unscathed and the next spectacle awaited us. A huge black rain cloud rose above the desert. At first, there was only lightning and thunder, and then suddenly there was a downpour. We had to almost stop. The windshield wipers were too slow even at the fastest speed for the amount of rain. At least our dirty Maxi got washed. 50km further, the sun was shining again. We arrived in Ceduna in the evening and had to go through customs. Every territory / state has a border here, and once again, you're not allowed to bring any fruits, vegetables, nuts, honey, seeds, grasses, etc. and must surrender them at the border. Afterwards, we went to a campground and were finally able to take a shower.
