News from Down Under

It rained almost all day today. We took the opportunity to go to the bank and search the internet for cars. Our new bank is Westpac Bank. The consultation was almost the same as in Germany, except that our bank advisor Phil had a lot of time and showed us everything in detail. In Australia, there are much more modern ways to withdraw money and do online banking. We didn't expect that.

Patrick applied for a job as a car mechanic today and is now waiting for feedback.

We found a car on gumtree.au and visited / test drove it this evening and bought it. In addition, Padi did very well on his first driving lesson in left-hand traffic. Now we are proud owners of a Toyota 4Runner / Hilux  :)
