During the time at school, German and Russian students worked together on a project. For this, we informed ourselves about the theater in Russia and Germany. First, we created a mind map in groups on the topic, considering which people work in a theater and how it is structured. In addition, we looked at different types of theaters (such as musical theater or puppet theater), different genres, and dramaturges. All of this was considered in relation to Russia and Germany. Then the groups separated and specialized in a specific topic for which they prepared a presentation. Each group consisted of Russian and German students. As a German, you worked on your presentation in Russian and as a Russian, you worked on it in German. In total, three presentations were created, one on the topic of 'Russian and German dramaturges', 'the most famous theaters in Russia and Germany', and a dialogue about the structure and components of a theater. We presented our work on the last day of school in a cozy round. This project work was particularly interesting for us because during our stay we visited the ballet and the puppet theater. However, we found that there are hardly any differences between Russian and German theater. This time we spent on this topic brought us closer to our exchange partners.
