Boat tour through Srinagar

Yayınlanan: 15.11.2018

After my problem with withdrawing money has been resolved, I can hopefully sleep properly again without the fear of not being able to leave here. Despite the facepalm of throwing away my monthly budget in the first 5 days, I still have to give it to myself. Well, you have to learn and I hope I can still get it under control when I leave this area annexed by India and Pakistan.

In addition to Indian television, an interesting board game whose name I don't know, and not bad food without traveler's diarrhea, today (15.11) I went on a boat tour through Srinagar. I spent 4 1/2 hours alone in a super romantic boat.

Srinagar is a mixture of a fishing village and a dirty and ugly Venice. However, it has its own charm. The traffic is crazy! Here, you also hit the stray dog without thinking twice if it doesn't get out of the way. It's dirty, there's construction everywhere, and if there's no construction going on, the buildings are falling apart. The power is cut off from morning until an unspecified time in the evening. Usually, from 6pm onwards, you can use your electric heater again.

In addition, there are eagles flying around here, which is very impressive :)

Tomorrow, hiking in the Himalayas is on the agenda :)

In addition, my backpack, which had a strap torn on the first day, has been repaired.
