Tiger and Turtle is a modern sculpture inaugurated in 2011. A large metal snake winds its way into the sky over an area measuring 40 by 41 meters. 349 steps form an extraordinary work of art. The work of art, including the loop, resembles a roller coaster in an amusement park, but has no cars. You can climb part of the roller coaster on foot. At night, the modern LED lighting allows the attraction on the Heinrich-Hildebrand-Höhe to shine spectacularly above the roofs of the city. The looping attracts particular attention. The Tiger & Turtle is now the landmark of Duisburg and the most visited attraction in the region.
