14.3. We are looking forward to our trip to Miami! Unfortunately, almost all museums are closed, but we will visit the Winwood Walls and the Art Deco Museum where there is still plenty to see. Especially Winwood enchants with its huge graffiti, turning the neighborhood from the gutter into a hipster district. After the creative and inspiring input, we will go to Miami Beach and stroll along the beach promenade. There is an outdoor gym where you can work out your muscles, just like at Venice Beach in LA. But we'll just admire the many beautiful people. After the beach, we turn into the neighborhood and have a bite to eat at a Colombian restaurant. Then we visit the Art Deco Museum, which opens our eyes to the many buildings in this style. We learn that a section of Lincoln Street has been restored and serves as a pedestrian zone. So we also visit this street and feel transported back to the 40s and 50s. Shortly after 3 pm, we start our way back - we want to avoid rush hour traffic. Back in Homestead, we go back to the Miami Brewing Co. and treat ourselves to a glass of delicious lime-lychee beer. For dinner, we'll go to an Italian restaurant today. Mamma Mia 2 has really good Italian dishes and makes us a little homesick. Satisfied and with a full stomach, we return to the campsite. We discover that there are so many kittens and one of the cheeky little ones dares to come and play and cuddle with us.
