November 30, 2019 - Heading to the Galapagos Islands

The alarm goes off at 5 am and we drive to the airport in Quito as the flight departs at 9 am. After a small delay, the plane takes off towards the Galapagos Islands. After a short layover in Guayaquil, we land on San Cristobal around noon, one of the inhabited islands of the Galapagos. By the way, the time is set back one hour. We walk to our accommodation and explore the island on our own. There are sea lions and iguanas everywhere at the port, which is also spread throughout the entire island.
