Farewell

Nai-publish: 22.09.2016

Here it is, the last day ๐Ÿ˜” a strange feeling not to have to get up early anymore, pack the backpack and plan the day trip.

In addition to the good feeling of departure, there is also a bit of melancholy that our tour is now coming to an end.

But we are also looking forward to being home and want to use the day for an extensive stroll through the city ๐Ÿ˜€

After a small breakfast, somewhere in one of the many small squares here, we let ourselves drift through the streets. And of course, we take a few souvenirs with us ๐Ÿ˜€

As if connected by invisible threads, we keep meeting familiar faces - briefly chat or have a coffee together and learn, among other things, that the couple from Bonn we met yesterday are also teachers (so we were right ๐Ÿ˜€).

We invited the two of them to Dresden - the man fled from Dresden with his grandmother on February 13, 1945, and has only been to Dresden during the GDR era with a school class. So it's about time for a new visit - let's see what happens ๐Ÿ˜€

We stroll once again through the square in front of the cathedral to observe the arrival of today's pilgrims - and once again, we see nothing but happy faces ๐Ÿค“

We take our time to look inside the cathedral, walk past the grave of St. James, and finally decide to listen to the pilgrim concert. Music students perform Bach, Telemann, and Mozart, among others. That's a nice ending.

Tomorrow at 13:25 we will take the plane home. We will arrive in Berlin at 21:55 - just in time to celebrate Anne and Sophie's birthdays ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ
