The campsite is quite large and there is a lot of activity. We get space 001. With the mini golf course, the reception, and the camping restaurant, it forms the 'Piccadilly Circus' of the place. It is noticeably more lively than at Wolfgangsee. But we find that quite appealing.
However, I would replace a picture on the website: the homepage suggests that the campsite is directly by the lake. This is not the case, a (not very busy) road and a huge wall separate the beach area from the camping site. What initially bothers me, I don't notice anymore after the second day.
It is also interesting that the south seems to be more expensive than the north. Birkenstrand at Wolfgangsee was almost half as expensive and not only offered equally as much (although slightly different), but also had by far the best sanitary facilities we have seen so far. In Klagenfurt, they take a more relaxed approach to cleaning. Nevertheless, the facilities are okay. WLAN costs per hour! Luckily, we have our own hotspot and are independent. The fact that we changed our booking twice was also taken very casually and for free - great!
