Today it rained heavily in the morning, so the bikes could take a break today. On the other hand, we had Rostock & Warnemünde on our itinerary. As we started driving, the rain stopped.
Arriving in Rostock, the Friday for Future demonstration was already starting there. We were fortunate that we had parked our car at the harbor before the start of the demo.
In the historic city center, there was a lot to see. We visited the town hall, the university, a church, and much more. Each building was worth seeing and impressive in its own right. We were very impressed with Rostock. Everything was very clean and in top condition. Even the smaller green spaces were nicely designed. In the middle, there was often a fountain that was even intact :-)) and there were statues on the lawns. Eventually, our feet were tired and we needed a break.
We made ourselves comfortable in the monastery garden. We enjoyed delicious drinks and food. Hmmmm, I ordered another eggnog and thought about taking a break with Petra....grinning. In that sense, Petra - cheers -. Only here, the eggnog was twice as big as our break drink :-). I believe I had one too many :-))))... My goodness, I can't handle anything anymore. We happily returned to the car and drove to Warnemünde.
In Warnemünde, the sky had cleared up and we could watch the sunset. Warnemünde is fantastic. We really liked the beach section, and Littlefoot was going crazy in the sand. Help, she didn't stop running at all, she had so much fun there. Oh, it was so nice to sit in the sand and listen to the waves. It's a shame that it gets dark so quickly :-(. We also visited the lighthouse and then went back to the car.
Today was a really great day, even without bikes :-).
