A sea day lies behind us now. Nothing spectacular happened on this day. There was plenty of time for eating, relaxing, and exercising. We covered 941km from Doha to Muscat.
Today we will dock in the mystical harbor of Muscat around 7:00 am. The seat of the Sultan of Oman since 1808. The view from the cabin promises fascinating impressions. Instead of a skyline made up of skyscrapers, we are greeted by majestic mountains. You could also call it Oman's Grand Canyon. Muscat is a very spacious capital that stretches 50 km along the coast. Amongst modern architecture, pristine settlements, and magnificent mosques, you can also discover the history of Muscat. I listened to a lecture about this port of call the day before, as I do not intend to leave the ship today. Because that's what everyone does, or almost everyone. And what does that mean for me? Yes, exactly, an empty ship that belongs to me alone. A sunbed in the place of my choice, no long waiting times at the bar, and no crowds during lunch. These are all things that you absolutely have to take advantage of on a trip like this. Next time I will go ashore. I promise.
The departure at around 5:00 pm is also a wonderful sight.
Today's evening program features "The Voice of The Ocean". Very entertaining.
