We started our day with espresso and cafe au lait at the famous cafe from yesterday, today again with floating boats. Then the tour started towards Locronan, a tiny old Breton village. Here we could admire Ricard glasses from past decades in a few antique shops. The next stop was Quimper. Although all shops were closed, we explored the old town on foot and even got a glimpse of the market hall (albeit only during dismantling).
Our lunch was classic French 'entrecote frites et bearnaise'
Our destination for the day was Concarneau and the best part is: it's festival time. So 'who's having fun at the festival? Us!'
Of course, we also visited the culturally valuable corners of the city, such as the Ville Close with a walk on the city walls. We will have our apéro today at the Bar Amiral, where my favorite detective Dupin enjoys a coffee or a glass of wine. To end this perfect day, we treat ourselves to a nice menu with salmon tartare, foie gras, half a lobster each, goat cheese tartlet, and for dessert fig soufflé and chocolate cake. A nightcap at the wine bar, this is what a perfect Breton day looks like.
