The pandemic is over - in Liechtenstein

The first of 4 stages is done. I arrived safely at the hotel after 61 km and only 110 meters of elevation (average speed 21.0 km/h). Today, I rode along the Rhine dam up and down, sometimes on the left side and sometimes on the right side. The surface was very good, the path wide and without annoying car traffic. The mountains and rock formations that opened up in front of me were impressive, and the best part was that my path was completely flat.

The rest of the week, I will envy today's weather, although sometimes I felt like a roasted chicken.

In all of Liechtenstein, there seems to be only 1 person who doesn't know that the pandemic is over. I learned that today during lunch. That was new to me, but of course, I am very happy about such good news. So far, I assumed that at least in Germany, the fourth wave is just starting, but that does not seem to be the case for the principality. The restaurant visit felt like before the pandemic to me, as long as I didn't look in the mirror. I avoided mentioning in the restaurant that I wore a mask for 7 hours straight today without any breaks.
