In Noosa Heads, there is a beautiful national park right by the sea with kilometers of beaches🏝, cliffs, and lookout points. The Coastal Walk is very popular and promises many dream spots.
One of my German roommates already knew the Walking Track 🥾 but didn't mind doing it again with me. The ten-kilometer hike leads around a peninsula, along the coast. Along the way, you pass several lookouts and secluded beaches. It was indescribably beautiful!!👍 The highlight, Ferry Pool, is a rock ledge that is slightly elevated above the surface of the sea. It is repeatedly flooded with fresh seawater🌊. The water is crystal clear and there are even fish🐠 swimming in it.
In the afternoon, it became a bit cloudy, but it remained pleasantly warm. We decided to stop at one of the beaches and go for a swim in the sea🏊♂️.
Back at the backpacker, we ended the day with a proper Australian BBQ🥩.
