Hoi An - City of Lanterns

Since Monday we have been in Vietnam. We start our Vietnam trip in our favorite city, Hoi An. The city is known for its beautiful old town and lanterns. The city becomes especially beautiful when it gets dark and everything starts to glow in colorful lights.

We are staying here in a homestay. A homestay is a room in a local family's house. In our case, the family lives on the ground floor and we walk through their kitchen on the way to our room. There is a roof terrace and even a pool with a view on the roof. Furthermore, there is a great breakfast and every time we walk past the hosts, they hand us a bottle of cold water. Unfortunately, we are not able to save plastic this way, but thanks to our bottles from KleanKanteen and our beeswax products, we have been able to do a good job so far.

For dinner, we visited the small street food stand where we ate five years ago. Mr. Son even recognized our photos and was very happy.

Tomorrow our motorcycle tour begins. Since the temperatures are supposed to be very high, we are curious to see what awaits us and how we will cope with it 🫠.
