Day 56 - Rio de Janeiro

We would have loved to spend another day at the beach, but it was cloudy and the temperatures were not necessarily inviting for swimming. After breakfast, we strolled along Copacabana and the beach before looking in vain for some souvenirs. Hoping that there might still be an opportunity to go back to the sea in the afternoon, we chilled a bit in the apartment when it started to rain. In the evening, we had a reservation at a Brazilian steak or buffet restaurant to not spend the last night of our trip in the kitchen again.

In the restaurant, there were many different types of meat that were cut at the table from the skewers. It was very delicious, but after the fifth plate, the stomach was massively full. There was of course room for a dessert, but the house schnapps only moderately helped with digestion.
