Unfortunately, Christian and I left Hamburg too quickly again at around 9:15 am. From Berliner Tor, we head out of the city towards Bergedorf. It's not the direct route to Lübeck. Instead, we pass through the Duchy of Lauenburg.
The weather is great again, and we even have a tailwind. It feels much easier for Christian and me compared to the previous day. Maybe it's because we know that the distance is only 94 km, instead of over 120 km like the day before.
After more than 55 km, we reach the beautiful town of Mölln, known as Eulenspiegel-Stadt. The cloud cover is increasing, so we take the opportunity for a coffee break. Yesterday, we were looking forward to strawberry cake in Altes Land, but unfortunately, we couldn't find it in Mölln either. Nevertheless, the break was good, and we could wait out the rain.
After another 20 km and now with nice weather again, we decide to visit Ratzeburg as well. A good decision! After visiting the cathedral with the Ernst Barlach statue, we even spontaneously meet Angela and Thomas! Who would have thought?
We reach Lübeck, almost dry, after the remaining 20 km.
