The journey to Sucre is as long as yesterday. Slowly it becomes greener as we steadily lose altitude. The city, as the name suggests, is predominantly white and built in colonial style. It takes us a while to find a place where we can exchange dollars (still Carlito's cash). But in the end, we know the whole city. The market is colorful and bustling, it's fun to wander through the streets. We have reserved at the restaurant Nativa, an absolute must in Sucre. The six-course meal with small cocktails accompanying each course brings the Bolivian cuisine to our plates in a new interpretation. What a treat! The price of 40.- for both of us is a bargain. Satisfied, we return to our hotel, which is housed in the former Colombian consulate, a true gem!
