Giants lined our path to Denmark today (driving distance of approximately 300 km). At Cape Leeuwin, the southwesternmost point of Australia, the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean meet. In the Valley of the Giants, the mighty Tingle Trees, a type of eucalyptus, grow. There, we conquered the Tree Top Walk and felt like heroes afterwards. The walk takes you over the treetops at a height of up to 40 m on a suspension bridge, with only the giant trees below. At Williams Bay Beach, we were greeted by a herd of elephant-shaped rocks, known as Elephant Rocks.
We stayed at the Karma Chalets, which offered a magnificent view. After experiencing so much gigantism, we ended the evening with a juicy steak at a craft beer brewery...
