Back home

And now the time has come. After spending the night before the French border, we are driving back to Switzerland.

The Spanish daily rhythm – coffee at 9 o'clock – lunch between 2 and 4 o'clock – suits us very well. But now we have to get back into the mode of the North.

We take many beautiful memories of special encounters with the country and its people with us.

We have also built a "relationship" with our car through the many experiences and kilometers (about 12,000 kilometers) we have driven. It has literally accompanied us through thick and thin. When I think about the narrow streets in the villages, I still feel queasy. We drove over bumpy tracks, uphill and downhill, and even through riverbeds, and the Qashqai never let us down. Often it was dusty and dirty - no matter, it worked perfectly.

We really enjoyed the time out in Spain. The only thing missing for us was the contact with family, friends, neighbors and colleagues.
