Northland: A few days together in the far north of New Zealand

20.3. - 23.3.

Back in New Zealand again!

The journey was exhausting and complicated. But in the end, everything worked out.

The Asians in Shanghai absolutely had to print a new boarding pass and then needed all kinds of documents for my onward journey. But since it was impossible to get WiFi at the airport in Shanghai, it was a half disaster - until I finally got to continue my flight. Well, I won't be flying to New Zealand that quickly anymore - and if I do, certainly not via China!

At customs in New Zealand, they also took another look at my suitcase, which was almost only filled with Austrian food ;-)
And above all, because I stated that I would only be there for another 10 days! Hihi.

Well, everything turned out fine in the end!

Mexi, Pichler, and I spent a few more days together before he flew back home. We drove all the way to the north of New Zealand and had a few more beautiful days. And it was absolutely worth it!!!

It was sooo beautiful at Cape Reinga in the far north. The Bay of Islands was also a dream. I even caught my first fish EVER there!! Wuhuu!!! But my absolute highlight was sandboarding on the giant dunes in Te Paki. It was sooo much fun! Simply incredible!
