Today we made a short trip to Freiburg in absolutely summery temperatures.
When we arrived in Freiburg, we just made it to the cathedral.
There are plenty of organs there, to be precise, four. Basically one in every corner... No, there is the Michalis organ...
a swallow's nest organ in the nave...
a choir organ in the front altar area
...an auxiliary work (which was hidden), and of course the main organ. Everything can be played from a central console next to the altar.
Unfortunately, we are already on our way north again for the next organ concert :-(
And of course, beautiful stained glass windows again!
Afterwards, the heat outside hit us pretty hard. We had a drink directly on the cathedral square and finally ate our tarte flambee... it was about time!
And of course, there was also live music:
Then off to the scooter and on to the next swimming pool. On the way home, we were lucky in Glottertal, we found a swimming pool with a beautiful panorama:
Finally cool off!!!
And then go home before the rain starts and enjoy a delicious meal in the guest room. The rain caught us outside on the terrace, but it was already dry again after dinner.
Tomorrow we are heading north, first to Volker and Bärbel in Bretten.
See you soon, dear ones!
