23rd day - from Makarska to Medjugorje

Done! After 1692km of biking (+approx. 140km by train), we have arrived in Medjugorje - thank God!

The last day had it all: breathtaking nature, a road to nowhere (for the first time Komoot's planning led us to a dead end and we had to turn back - if it wasn't for the Croatian gravel roads, it wouldn't have been that bad...), uphill climbs, sun, heat, friendly and not so friendly drivers.

In the morning, we had to conquer the Biokovo mountains (600 meters of continuous ascent), we ignored a construction site diversion once again and were able to pass the site without any obstacles after 3km, then we went down towards Bosnia and reached Medjugorje with joy and gratitude at around 3pm.
