At 2 o'clock that night we arrived in Mui Ne and for the first time drove with three people and our two big backpacks and including our two small backpacks on a motorcycle to our hostel. Mui Ne reminds in its structure of Vietnam: first it stretches from south to north on a road where the houses and shops are arranged, and then it flows into a more compact district that extends on a peninsula.
With its continuous white beaches right on the edge of the city and the many palm trees, one inevitably thinks of Los Angeles, only everything is smaller and quieter. There is also a kind of "Grand Canyon" here, a red gorge that you could hike through, but the weather was too bad when we were there to venture on a longer walk.
Instead, we later went to the beach, where Andra took a surf lesson. For me it was simply too expensive, so I just had a relaxed time with my book on the beach. Unfortunately, the weather was not particularly good again and there were occasional showers coming from the sky.
Unfortunately, there is nothing more to report from that day. After the exhausting big city, it was just great to switch off and do nothing.
In the evening we went out with the English people we met in Saigon to celebrate my birthday, so this turned out to be a very nice evening.
Tomorrow we will continue north to Dalat. I thank you again for reading and for your interest in my journey!
