Highline, Empire State 😯😲

Second day in NY and we start with a typical American breakfast at Bill's Bar right next to our hotel.

After a hearty meal, we take the subway to the Highline. A former railway track (about 3km long), which is now greener and serves as a walking trail through or over New York. Really cool, with many beautiful views of the city and slightly shady and quiet for New York, especially with the unbearable heat.

After having 2 smoothies, shade and peace are no longer an issue. We wander through the 'center' again (where isn't it in New York). 5th Avenue, 7th Avenue, a quick stop by Smashburger and Ben&Jerry's ice cream for dessert.

In between, there's a little rain shower and the New York laundry is perfect.

Slowly, we head to the Empire State Building. It's time to go up today!

The view from above is breathtakingly beautiful. The sun slowly sets behind the East River and New Jersey. D r e a m y.

We absorb impressions!

Once back on the ground, New York captivates us with its lights. We take the subway back to the hotel and the second day in New York ends with fantastic impressions.
