22.3 - 30.3.2018 Philippines Part Two

Actually, there is not much to tell about the last eight days. We stayed at the Bellevue Hotel & Spa in Bohol on Doljo Beach and simply let our souls wander. We enjoyed the sound of the ocean from the sun lounger and delighted in searching the beach for starfish and shells. And on Wednesday we took a snorkeling tour with the SSI Diving School, which was right next to our hotel.

We started at 5:45 am. The sea was calm and so were we. The morning atmosphere left us speechless and when a group of dolphins appeared in front of our boat, we were completely captivated. About an hour later we reached the reef and wasted no time in jumping into the water. The reef is huge and I can't say it any other way, it's beautiful. Here you can find the most colorful fish, jellyfish, and turtles, and you are so busy marveling at everything that time simply flies by. This morning was the highlight of the week. Definitely!

And then there is that moment when the suitcase is packed and waiting in the corner to go home - whether you want to or not. Everyone at home is looking forward to us. But our hearts are divided. One half is excited to see family, friends, and colleagues, while the other half desperately wants to stay here, far away from responsibilities and obligations. In this paradise of sand, sea, and so many beautiful experiences.

The past three months have been indescribably beautiful but also exhausting, nerve-wracking, and definitely a challenge for our relationship. We have experienced things together that we will always carry in our hearts. Our love for each other is not greater, but certainly more intimate. And we have pushed boundaries together and grown because of it. I am proud and incredibly grateful that I got to spend these three months with you, Chris ❤
