Roadtrip 2 - Tourist Drive 6 / Strand :)

We continue our journey to the north, and we take the opportunity to drive along Tourist Drive 6 along the coast. We don't know how far we want to drive, but we definitely want to go swimming and don't want to spend too much time in the car. The first stop was at Hawks Nest, a small town with a great beach and beautiful water. Since it was still early in the morning, we decided to postpone swimming until it gets a little warmer. We drove along different beaches and discovered Boomerang Beach, which we fell in love with. It has crystal clear water, a fine sandy beach, and a beautiful landscape, with challenging waves and lifeguards on duty. After spending a few hours in the water, we continued to visit more beaches. We also stopped at a lookout point, but unfortunately, clouds had moved in by then. The entire region has many lakes and small farms, and we consider it the most beautiful part of the east coast.

In the evening, we reached Port Macquarie, a larger town on the coast. We stayed at a campsite right by the sea.
