Hello back!
I've experienced too much in the past 7 months to summarize everything in one post. So here's the summary:
From April to October, I stayed in a small town called Nelson. It's a sunny place on the north coast of New Zealand's South Island with a population of 66 thousand, ranking it 9th in the country's most populous cities.
The end of my first road trip marked the beginning of my first work phase and the farewell to Louise, my Swedish friend. Hugo, also Swedish, stayed in Nelson as well.
My first job was an unpaid job in exchange for accommodation ('wwoofing', willing workers on organic farms). Then I worked in a bar/nightclub, a mussel factory, and as a kitchen assistant. The last job was definitely the most enjoyable.

These early job experiences in the factory will make me appreciate my next jobs.
This is what awaited me every morning of my laundry shift in the factory. 2 days of laundry and cleaning, 3 days on the assembly line.
I initially lived in Hostel Paradiso in Nelson. There, I met Erika from America, Erik from Germany, Charlie from France, and many more. I lived with Hugo in a share flat for two months.
After this work phase, I hit the road again in my campervan. More on that in the next post :)
