Lucky Bay, Cape Le Grand NP

Waking up to the sun in the car (it's getting a little too warm as the day goes on), we had breakfast first (bread with Nutella) and then drove to Esperance (about 60 km away) to do some delicious shopping for the next few days. After that, we went straight to Lucky Bay and we were overwhelmed by the white beach and the incredibly clear water. It was even warm enough to sunbathe a little. But the water is still freezing cold and swimming was not possible. (Mike still jumped in once though). As the evening set in, the kangaroos started to appear on the beach and after what felt like 1000 attempts (poor kangaroo;-D), we managed to take some selfies. The kangaroos there are definitely used to people, you could tell. We could even pet them. We watched the sunset at our campsite, which is only a 5-minute walk to Le Grand Beach. Then we cooked delicious salmon with vegetables and really enjoyed our vacation from our vacation. The internet is acting up at the moment, we will try to upload the pictures in the next few days!
