I was so happy that I was off on Thursday and Friday, because I really needed that time to get back to normal and relax a little bit. I also skyped with my best friend and my parents. On Saturday we went to a nice burger place. On Sunday I went to the Shenandoah National Park with 4 other AuPairs. It was ok but we didn't hike and just sat in the car for a long time. But it was nice.

The next week was a 'normal' one. I watched Gerry 3 days and saw some cool Halloween decoration in the neighborhood. The next week was a 'normal' one. On Friday Kevin, Gerry and I drove to Durham in North Carolina, because they've been invited to a baby shower that Saturday. The baby shower was really nice. It's a typical american thing. It's usually held at home but they've done it in a German-American Bar. They had German beer (Paulaner, Erdinger). And they play a couple crazy baby games. The pregnant wife's husband and a couple friends (male) had to trink beer out of baby bottles, you weren't allowed to say the word 'baby', etc.Plus I had a good Burger on Saturday evening.
