Here we go

This will be my 1st blog and I hope everything goes well. This way Martin and I (Amke) can share our adventure with you.

The flight to Lima was great because we flew business class (we booked it). It was so much better than economy class. We were greeted with a glass of champagne; we were constantly offered things. The food was amazing and served with proper cutlery and a white tablecloth. But the best part was the seat. We could really stretch out. The 12.5 hours flew by. We could have been on the plane even longer.

In Lima, it took a long time at passport control and at the baggage carousel. But eventually, that was done too. Warm welcome from 2 church representatives. Then we went into the chaotic traffic of the 10 million metropolis to the Iglesia Evangelica Luterana en el Peru. The church property is very modern and big. Our apartment is located in the complex and right on the Panamericana, so it's very, very noisy.
