Suitcases are packed, and we're off to Frankfurt Airport again with Deutsche Bahn. This time, we were lucky and there were no delays or cancellations - everything was great. Unfortunately, we had to go to Terminal 2 again, and then we saw a crowd of people at the Vietnam Airlines check-in counter - oh God, standing in a zigzag line - we didn't feel like it. First, we looked for a seat and waited until we could check-in directly. Since we decided to travel in Premium Economy this time, our seats were already reserved, so no stress. At the counter, our blood pressure started to rise again - the lady at the counter asked, "Do you have a visa for Vietnam?". No, I don't need one, my travel agency told me. "Yes, you do, that was a wrong statement - Austrians need a visa!" But since you're only making a layover, it's okay for this flight, but if you enter Vietnam in 2 weeks, you'll need to get one!"
Immediately sent an email to the travel agency and now we're waiting for a response 😭
But we were very satisfied with our seats in the Premium Economy class, and it's incomparable to the "economy class".
Almost like lying down, footrests, wider seats and bigger screens, and full assistance throughout the entire flight - perfect 👍.
