Hongkong Tag 2

Today I left the ship around 11 a.m. accompanied by Judi Shurson. A free shuttle bus took us to our destination.

The APM Shopping Mall is a top-class shopping center that extends over ten floors. Attractive, modern and sparkling clean. All the important luxury brands are represented here, only my modest demands (I would have liked to buy mangosteen again) were not met. Instead we went for a delicious meal at a Vietnamese restaurant.

We then took another walk outside the mall, but we didn't find a fruit seller. So we went back to the shuttle bus stop and had ourselves taken back to the ship.

After sunset we gathered on deck to enjoy our farewell to Hong Kong. The beautifully lit skyscrapers no longer looked as intimidating as they did during the day.

In the evening, the a cappella group "Metro Vocal Group", which consists of four Americans living in Hong Kong, performed. Quite entertaining.
