Our journey from Arusha to Gaborone takes almost 20 hours as there are no direct flights and we have to fly with longer layovers in Dar es Salaam and Johannesburg...

Powernap in Johannesburg

For Ronny, it's worth it as a flight attendant notices his great thirst for beer and will probably give him the best flight ever!

Happy Ronny

Gaborone is the capital of Botswana, very calm and relaxed, which is a big difference from the bustling Arusha.

We are staying with a very nice family in a small garden house, relaxing a lot and spending the days in the beautiful garden!

While Ronny spent most of his time in the many shopping malls and got himself new sunglasses, flip-flops, and shirts..

Ronny went all out!

We won't get bored, as we are entertained by the kittens, dogs, and chickens of the family.

Kitten love
Hungry look at the chickens in the garden
We had to buy their friendship with treats!
Heee

In the end, it must be said that Katha, after the 20-hour journey, was finally so tired that she fell asleep before Ronny and didn't wake up. For the very first time... It was the best night! This is what it must feel like for normal people when they sleep well and deeply!
